En Route to The Fens
London Paddington Station
Left home 9.30am and taxi to local station, train to Bath (15 degrees and raining), train to Paddington (arrived half hour late), underground to Kings Cross (17 degrees and pouring!), made it to train to Ely with 2mins to spare, arrived Ely 2.24pm (first extra).
After a visit to the supermarket, to M’s village (overcast 22 degrees) where the Honeysuckle was blooming and where we harvested his potatoes (extras 2 & 3). Having been awake since 4am, a quiet evening in front of the tele.
