A busy to start to week.  The annual thrift shop which we run to raise funds for our Community Bonfire and Fireworks so we can keep it free on the night so everyone who wants can come along opened.  The first day went really well. 

I also had the last of my An Cursa Inntrigidh revision classes. These has been really helpful, both on terms of going over grammar and developing conversation skills. Today our tutor also told us about future study options once we complete the next course. A couple of the modules at diploma level (SCQF 8) sound really interesting. However key focus will now be on An Cursa Adhartais which leads to certificate in HE (SCQF 7) over two years. This starts next month. 

Today also saw the first meeting of an informal reading group which one of the other students has organised. It was really good and gives further practice in speaking.  

In between times I did some gardening - I was pleased to see my peas have started to flower.
