Brother Ron at the Welk Wake

Welk Wake: that's what cousin Feffie dubbed the reunion she organized for my mom’s side of the family. Welk was Mom’s maiden name, and yes, she was related to Lawrence Welk, woo hoo.
Feffie dubbed it a wake because the idea for it came about after my sister Kathi’s death followed pretty closely after Aunt Dorothy died.
But the day was really fun, and filled with hugs and laughter .
It was held at Bargeway Pub right on the Columbia. We had plenty of cool air-conditioning, plus this view.
