Cutting the Grass (and not fixing the van)

This is our neighbour's field and she has someone cutting down the grass. This is the second cut of 2024. Partly this is her way of keeping the lupins from spreading too much into the field.
I was trying to solve a problem on our camper van today. There is a special "soft close" on the sliding door, and it has stopped working. After much scanning of Internet forums I started trying out different solutions. In the end I decided the motor in the soft close isn't working, and I need a new unit or to revert to the original van closing solution.
We sat outside very comfortably on the deck for our morning cuppa, as the sun shone and kept us warm. However, we still have very mixed weather with chilly temperatures except when that direct sun shines.
