Severnth Heaven

A new term in 'ology'....The River Severn runs through the delightful little market town of Llanidloes in Mid Wales.

Hollie knows exactly where the river is and needed cooling off today after a happy hour up in the woods at Allt Goch...(Inglemantwo).

It has been pleasantly warm and sunny and we enjoyed good walking and great views of the surrounding hills and woodland.

We saw a field with six beautiful donkeys who were looking very well kept and very content.

We stopped and spoke to a kindly gentleman on a motor scooter. He had a great excuse, having only one leg. But he was cheerful, chatty and happy to pass the time of day.

We saw a stunning Little Egret flying down the river but not hanging around for me to capture.

The graceful Longbridge is just visible further downstream
