Line Drying

One domestic job I enjoy is pegging clothes on the line, and the weather here is generally perfect for it. I also like being able to air our quilt and pillows in the sunshine. Two loads done - ours and our guests' bedding, towels, tablecloths from Mike's party. 

Good opportunity for some Vit D as well; apparently a lot of Portuguese aren't getting enough, amazing in a country with this much sunshine - but folk go everywhere in cars, and stay out of the sun as much as possible, and use sunscreen if they do go out.

Notice how dry anywhere is where we don't water. I cut the bravos (suckers, some quite big) off the clothesline olive tree, and spread them on dry, bare bits of the "lawn" for some protection from the sun - will remove them when the leaves fall off.

Gratefuls:
- sunshine to dry our washing, and cool evenings, perfect
- Mike mending a chair that broke when he was sitting on it at the party, quite dramatic
