Outfoxed

This sight greeted me this morning.

A fox, or some foxes, have worked out how to open the compost bins in the neighbourhood, despite the handles being turned over. And I had a brick on top of the lid (though, from chatting with neighbours, that does not seem to stop them locally)!

The vast bulk of contents were vegetables, potato peelings and, of course it had to be this time, pistachio shells.

So on with the gloves and a tidy up. Two bricks on top of the bin this time.

At least it was not raining. In fact it turned into a lovely sunny day. Got the grass cut before the rain arrives tomorrow and had a zoom AGM for the gardening and crafts club and planning for the show in September.
