Look away now, Rocky

We took Rocky to the vet today for his annual injection and, whilst waiting to take him in, were faced with these rather unsettling questions. Once in the clinic room we managed to get him onto the scales for long enough to record that he now weighs around 6.9 kilos. That's a kilo he's put on since he joined the family four years ago. In his/our defence he is a very long cat and he really doesn't eat that much, although we should provably cut back on the munchies and lickees. So,  I am thinking -  how can I combine my need to up my exercise levels with his? All suggestions welcome.
