Book…Wrong Book

After working on this latest writing project, Soapbox, for nearly nine months, I was excited to follow the package tracking of it as it was scheduled to be delivered today. There is no more exciting feeling as a writer as when you can hold your book in your hands. So you can imagine my feelings when I opened the package and found that…IT WASN’T MY BOOK!! It’s a book by Bill Kooker about an amusement park in Iowa. I’m sure it’s a fine book, BUT IT’S NOT MINE!!! To top it off, they don’t have a phone support service, you have to submit a complaint, then wait for who knows how long. Who knows when it will get here. Oy.
