Greater Butterfly Orchid

Well I was supposed to be packing for our camping trip but the sun was too nice and there were more interesting things to do.

Went to see a friends meadow that is being managed with conservation aims. It is full of orchids at the moment and hundreds (if not thousands) of these Greater Butterfly orchids. I liked this shot taken in the evening light.
