Mud painting

My mud paintings were the talk of the studio. I am not sure people liked them. They much prefer "proper paintings.

Anyway this one was made using mud from our garden . The river mud gathered last night turned out to be too sandy though I did collect mud from the floor of Robert Louis Stevenson cave alongside the Allan Water river and I have started to make work using that.

Yesterday I made a big piece of work using just water and colour . It took the form of stripes.

This morning our tutor said she dreamt she had cut it up into small pieces and I was very upset.
Then she woke up. Maybe this is what she thinks of my work....
