Chained male
There was I, on my way to choir practice around teatime in the centre of Norwich when I came across this. A bloke, up a ladder, in chains doing a bit of escapology. As you do.
There isn't any festival or anything going on at the moment (apart from the 53 gorillas in the city) so I'm not quite sure what this was all about. Not that it matters as he had got a bit of a crowd around him and people were enjoying the sunshine and his shenanigans.
It was the final choir rehearsal before we go to London on Saturday for a day of workshops and an evening performance at the Hand in Hand Festival of LGBT choirs. It's organised by the Pink Singers from London as part of their 30th anniversary celebrations. They are the oldest LGBT choir in Europe!
About 12 of us from our choir are going and we are all very excited. We sounded great this evening, and two lovely friends in the choir helped me out with my outfit. One loaned me a black shirt, and the other a rainbow tie.
I have tomorrow off and it will be lovely to have some down time with Roland.
A little bit of good news is that my payment for the backing singing I did the other week has come through so we may go mad and have fish and chips for tea tomorrow.
