Finally!

After months of head scratching they’ve finally managed to clear the blockage of stones and gravel which blocked the access for fibre. Geomarine worked out exactly where the blockage was and yesterday morning the telecoms co. was asking my landlords permission to dig up the patio (posh name for slabs between the house and the railings) but first Geomarine had one last try at blasting through with a water jet. Success!
Since I don’t particularly need high speed I’m not massively excited but just in case I take up serious gaming…

They said on the news that there’s a lot of a new strain of Covid around so since I’ve sneezed a bit and have a scratchy throat I thought I’d test. It’s well over a year since I last tested and it took forever to work out how. (my fault because I put the liquid viles back in the box) but having finally got there I’m pleased to say it’s negative. Another crisis aborted!
