The Woodland Garden (Tuesday 9th July 2024)
I took some shots of these Japanese acer leaves bearing in mind the Tiny Tuesday challenge with the optional theme "Wide aperture, narrow depth of field". I used my fastest prime lens at its widest aperture. Only a deliberately tiny part of the image is actually sharp creating an abstract composition (in Extras is an image with a more definably focused area). With thanks to isbi for hosting.

Bob Dylan - To Ramona (recorded live, 6 May 1965, City Hall, Newcastle-upon-Tyne)
This week I've been going through the supplemental features on my blu-ray copy of Bob Dylan's documentary film Don't Look Back.
They include five audio recordings of performances not included in the film, and I wanted to include one here, but it seems no-one has posted them to You Tube. One of them was To Ramona, recorded in Sheffield on 30 April, but here is a very similar performance from the tour a week later, derived from the film by Swingin' Pig who "combined multiple clips from outtakes of D A Pennebaker's Don't Look Back to create this little music video of one of Dylan's most underrated songs...There have been other videos on the internet, but never of this quality."
