Queueing for Love
Went to hear mass this morning at Denaby. Then later in the afternoon, me and Mr M went off in search of my mojo. We headed off to Thrybergh Country Park a short drive away from our place, our bikes in tow. Only to find out cycling was not allowed! Bleh!
Anyway, so we left the bikes on the carrier on the car and just went off for a walk around the reservoir. Instead of finding my mojo, I found these! Damselflies in heat! LOL Hundreds of them all around, some in singles and a lot in tandem. Must be their mating season. There were so many of them, they looked like they were queueing for love! Waiting in line, hoping the first male doesn't match! Then again when they do, as you can see on inset, love develops! So much so, its valentine's and hearts for them as you can see, haha! Oh well, I did learn a lot from Dave 'Vodkaman' The Englishman in Bandung about their mating behaviour, so no surprises there really.. More of amazed at how numerous they are! This is, after all, a part of their habitat..
On to my quest again tomorrow, in search of my elusive mojo!
Hugs and kisses!
