Threave House NTS

A real change in the weather overnight and it’s now cold and rainy, but we can’t complain after having 4 glorious days. 
I had a thought that we could go to Threave House and shelter in either the house, or the wildlife hide if it continued to rain. But I hadn’t done my homework properly.  The house was closed and they had stopped feeding the red squirrels at the hide after a recent possible case of squirrel pox. We did have a short walk around the gardens though and a snack in the cafe which was nice before the rain set in for good. The gardens were looking lovely with some great looking tall beds in front of the house which is my blip for today.
