Watching the sea

We have travelled on a Dover/Calais ferry many, many times. Just the right time for a proper break from driving and yet not eating into travelling time too much. Our young girls used to love it as they could wander the ship on their own and yet have a corner where we could be based.

Gordon likes to wander, especially on the deck outside. I just enjoy watching the sea and reading my book - such a slow, sedate way to travel. (We have been several times when it is not so calm, but then it’s exciting!)

Attracting a lot of attention at a Service Station. It’s a Newfypoo - a cross between a Newfoundland and a Poodle. Said to have a sweet temperament - gentle giants. This one was certainly loving all the attention it was getting.
