Second Day of Summer

A beautiful sunny day, fairly calm with a light breeze, lovely and warm too.  Beautiful evening, and sunset, but starting to cloud over at 2230.

Up early and out walkies.  Another 12hr late shift in the airport.  A couple of spells in the check-in desk, mostly outside meeting and boarding flights.  All flights on time, slight delay to last ABZ, due to a private jet blowing a tyre on the runway in Aberdeen.  A lovely night for walkies. 

Shame I've had to be at work on such a stunning day, thankfully I spent a fair bit of the day out on the ramp and enjoyed the sunshine.  Lunch arrived, time to get outside again.  A lovely beach walk, and plenty others had the same idea.  Crystal clear waters, they look so inviting, but bet they are still freezing!  There was people swimming, brrrr.  The clear waters at West Voe, Sumburgh.
