Little one

A family of Gambel's quail were running haphazardly up and down the street. I think there were 9 babies but they were moving so quickly that I couldn't be sure. I was a little surprised when they came into the yard. Not very close to me, mind you. But close enough to get a decent shot of this little ball of feathers though the window.

Sad news at Walmart today when a member of staff was seriously injured after a pallet of chocolate fell more than 50 feet and crushed him underneath... He tried in vain to attract attention, but every time he shouted "The chocolate bars are on me" everyone cheered.
