Early morning call

We were woken at 4.15am by sheep. First I could hear one, then a reply, then a rustling in the bracken, then a head, the two and then about 50 sheep appeared. They moved towards us in unison and I thought that they were going to surround us. They stood still for while and then finally lost interest in us and moved off slowly in single file. Tess never moved a muscle but was on high alert. It was just as well she was tethered up for the night.

We never heard the barking bird this morning but it did give us a bit of entertainment in the late evening yesterday. Oh well a 4 mile walk back home via McDs for hash browns and egg muffin...well deserved.

A long shower and then off to work for me. Danny went back to bed!!
