Proud to be an American?

Is this really how we celebrate our nation's independence by eating pasta in the shape of flags? But then again, I guess the holiday is more about the party than anything else. Oh, and if we can stimulate the economy by buying silly things like "American Pride Pasta", let's do it!

Sidenote: Long drive to Seattle for the 4th of July party. As usual, left Spokane late and arrived in Seattle even later. Uneventful drive.
