Jokey offices

We went to Channel 5/Paramount+ for a meeting.  They are in the old TVAM building with the post modern egg cups on the canal just off Camden High Road.  Inside the decor was all a bit jokey.  I imagine one zones it out after a while but I’m not sure I’d find working under Sponge Bob conducive to productive thought.  The meeting itself was all quite hilarious. 

It tipped with rain all day and we sploshed back through wet crowds of tourists milling around the fake goods stalls, selling cheerfully under signs saying,  ‘Don’t Buy Fake Goods’.  All buildings of course covered with the usual Camden jokey add ons.  It’s certainly a vibe. 

N and I had a tricky meeting and reeled off together for a drink at Waterloo before she went home to Poole and I came home.  

I am looking forward to a day working at home tomorrow and maybe some rain free moments.
