Let Loose

A couple of days ago I promised the kids there would be a surprise summer gift day on Wednesday. So there was no shortage of excitement and expectation this morning as I brought in a camera, a bike and a playhouse.

Then they were let loose with their new toys...

The children are increasingly keen on playing out in the street. I have mixed feelings. Setting boundaries is a challenge, and a difficult balance which we probably haven't achieved yet.
