Crazy Day....

Which started early, unloading the kiln....some good results, some disappointing....but hey ho, i got some very good information for the next load!

Drove up to Sydney and Glace Bay....delivered pottery to the Gallery up that way, did some shopping - cloths at Winners...yeah! Then i had a bit of time before the dragon boat practice so i dropped into this wonderful used book store! I love that they arrange most of the books on their sides, so you don't get that horrible creek in your neck from reading the titles side ways! What a great idea...more book stores should do this! Found a few good ones and they also sell antique type things - couldn't resist a beautiful blue glass decanter with small glasses....$12!!!

The paddle practice was a bit grueling... we did many race start practices and actually did a race with one of the other boats, that was fun but man, i was wiped! Everything had gone so well, and i was backing out of the space to head home....totally exhausted and hungry....and smack....i hit someones vehicle that was parked in a funny spot and i just didn't even register it! That tells you how exhausted i was....pretty bad eh! the damage wasn't too bad, just a bit of a dent in the passenger door...and a scratch or 2. nothing on our car, i was hardly moving, thank god! So, now we have to deal with the bloody insurance folks, that'll be fun i'm sure!

i'm off to bed, and looking forward to a good nights sleep and a day off tomorrow!!
