A happy group

I’m just home from a thoroughly enjoyable evening with this group of people, we last did this two years ago. The chap in the middle and back on the left live in Wellington and are down here chasing and photographing mainly birds up in our inland lakes.  Today they were in Timaru so a get together evening was organised.  The others (oldtimer at the back) are from Timaru area.  Simon Wolfe back left is an outstanding photographer as is the chap with the beard.  Oldtimer and I had a lot to do with Simon when we organised the National Photographic Convention back in 2008, and the Regional Convention in 2013.  We have remained good friends.
The extra is Smooch who hasn’t left my side all day.
Good to be home, we never got home until 5am this morning, then I struggled to get to sleep, possibly had an hour.  Got up and spent some time with our lovely house sitter before she tootled off to Christchurch. 

It’s now after 9pm, so this Blipper desperately needs some sleep
