Chasm City Vista
It was another lovely day of tinkering with various things, generally relaxing and recharging the batteries. I got out for a short walk this morning after the school run, then fixed a few things in the garden—notably, a fig tree making a break for freedom and needing to be tied back up to the fence. After that, there were pirates, dragons and other monsters in ESO that were getting out of hand and were clearly not going to put themselves to the sword... so I spent a happy afternoon tackling those important issues. Cooked a chilli for supper… yum.
Today’s blip started out as an image taken in stationary traffic on the approach to Dover after I’d dropped the boys at school. I fed it into Photoleap AI and used a model designed to produce cyberpunk-themed selfies, but in the absence of a face, it reinterpreted my photo into this rather dramatic cityscape. It reminds me a little of the excellent novel Chasm City by Alastair Reynolds.
