By the River

I had to go to a funeral this morning. It was good to meet up with some relatives I rarely see. Afterwards I had lunch in a pub by the river. My friend and I went for a little stroll. I saw some wild flowers I didn’t recognise and then spotted this, which I think is Sea Lilac? I’m sure one of you will know for sure.
Home and some tennis rounded off a day of mixed emotions.
