Playing with Daddy

Ed and Orla arrived home at quarter to three this morning. I had just fed Conor and put him down, so I was awake to greet them. Orla had had a sleep on the plane so she was full of beans a d wanting to tell me all about her holiday. We did persuade her to go back to bed! She and Conor both woke up around 8am, so I brought them down for breakfast.

It was warm this morning but cloudy. By early afternoon though, the clouds had cleared and it was scorching. We got the paddling pool out and I fetched Mum, Dad and Ryan. Orla and Ryan played in the paddling pool for a while. We tried dipping Conor's feet in but he didn't like it. He was slowly introduced to it by his dad once Orla and Ryan had got out and eventually got to the stage where he was lying down in it!

Both children bathed and in bed by 8pm and an easy dinner for us of Pizza Express pizzas. Still roasting at 10pm.
