Above the clouds

We flew home from Reykjavik today, a mere two hours and fifteen minutes. Because it took nine days to get there I felt the flight back was very quick. Unfortunately I hadn’t twigged that it is now well into the school holidays in Glasgow, so passport control took a long time and baggage reclaim even longer. My daughter was picking us up and got caught in road works so the time from landing to getting home, a mere twelve miles, took longer than flying from Iceland!
