The Mumbles

A generally grey and overcast day. Bright light though and heavy skies at the Mumbles this morning. With its pier and lighthouse the Mumbles sits on the edge of Swansea Bay. A piece of 1960s Wales preserved in time. We met a couple on the pier capturing the scene with pens and paint. It turned out that the lady regularly applies to Landscape Artist of the year and has appeared as a ‘wildcard’ on at least two episodes.
