Salisbury's magnicent cathedral

After a couple of days of rubbish weather, today looked rain free, breezy, with sun. so last minute decision to go to Salisbury. Had half an hour to shower and rush for the bus.

Got there at midday and did our usual route through town, round the cathedral and made a detour for a coffee and (vegan) cinnamon cake at 'The Yard' (which is hidden away down an alleyway in a residential area).

Took a mid afternoon bus back, ca.1h20m each way, with views of some glorious English countryside, so we could enjoy the tennis - Musetti beat Fritz :)) before the big match this evening.

Match just finished. We did it - 2-1 v the Netherlands - we're in the finals :))

So a brilliant day all round
