Not Quite Football Fanatics

Some Dutch and some semi-English gathered tonight at Al Andaluz, supposedly to watch the game, but actually, a lot more attention was paid to the food and conversation - which suits me fine. We even left before it had finished and pleased to find England had won when we got home - so glad it wasn't on penalties.

So now, England v Spain in the final - that might be worth watching - just turned 17yr old Lamine Yamal should be fun to see, hope he scores again.

Gratefuls:
- delicious lunch at Dan and Mireille's, good to see them again
- finding out the road to theirs was closed before we set off, in time to do a journey of an hour rather than 20 mins
- local Dutch/English still friends after the match, better friends, in fact
