Purple and yellow

Lavender and coreopsis blooming in a client's garden today. There was some creeping thyme growing around the stepping stones, but there was always a lot of grass growing in it too, so we removed most of it this spring and put some mulch down. It looks so much better and the client loves it.

Another hot and humid afternoon. The mornings aren't so bad. The fog rolls in overnight and cools things off a bit, but once the sun comes out around noon, then it gets hot. Tomorrow should be a little better, the heat warning has ended.
