Woggles....check

Mum phoned mid-morning and asked me to collect AuntyK and take her to the Infirmary in Edinburgh.  We were through the 'GP Interface Unit' in a few hours and left clutching some pills to tackle her chest infection. Her arithmetic heart investigation will be saved for another day.

I hadn't planned on the impromptu visit to the hospital but I was expecting to travel back to the city to help the Blair Atholl Jamborette patrol with their final kit check. So, I made my way into the city centre and waited for them to arrive. We completed our checklist in a hour and there is a little bit of fettling to do, but that can be done tomorrow. 

After an overcast start to the day, the journey home at 9pm through the border country was really quite pleasant, and I listened to another Alastair Campbell and Rory Stewart 'The Rest is Politics' podcast. Really enjoy their take on things.
