Woodland Shapes & Sunlight
Another beautiful morning, sunny and mild, with clear blue skies. On the way back from Canterbury, I decided to stop for a woodland walk near Waldershare. The bright sunlight filtering through the foliage was likely to provide better opportunities than in the open countryside – at this time of year, the golden hour is pretty much over by 6 am. As I picked my way between the trees, I came across this arrangement of crooked trees, one fallen onto its side, forming a lopsided letter ‘A’ that was backlit by sunbeams streaming through the canopy.
