priviledged for the second year...

a Long Earred Owl is raising another two chicks in my garden..last year we only caught sight of the chicks as they danced around on branches and called for their mother to hurry with the food..but for the last couple of nights she herself is sitting on a branch about 20 metres from the kitchen window coaxing her chicks to venture out of the nest..I am thrilled to see her..the shot is taken through triple glazing so that's the best that can be done...I'm just happy that she's out there...
