Tehidy Manor.
We went to Tehidy woods cafe for coffee and apple and cinnamon cake which was delicious. Then a short walk to see where the Manor was.no public access which was a little disappointing private driveway. It has a lot of history built by Francis Bassett using income from mining and land rents.it has a Italian pavilion with a sunken garden.Tehidy Park also has a golf course which seem to be busy .there were school children with their note pads .I would imagine they enjoyed learning the history of the area rather then in the class room.we were chatting to a couple been coming to Cornwall for many years and did not know about this place until today .
