Rhubarb, Rhubarb

Two different friends wondered this week if we’d like some rhubarb so we now have a few bags in the freezer, some awaiting a crumble topping and this batch in a killer jar, steeped in sugar, ready for the addition of gin tomorrow.

This morning Sophie had her school Sports Day, so we waited around for it to start after we dropped her at school and we’re joined by Joel and Kate, who had managed to get some free time. Like last year, it was very slickly organised and very entertaining.
