Intrepid explorer

She was an intrepid explorer, and a remarkable woman, whose life we celebrated today with a memorial walk, and a joyous celebration at the Redcliffe Hotel.  Margaret was a stalwart of our rambling group, who also belonged to many local social groups. And…she was a fellow northerner. She was also a climber and once reached base camp of Everest, and tackled Mont Blanc. She was the epitome of a can do attitude, who aged 90 was still very active.Her lovely family gave her an affectionate and original send off and celebration of her life. The extra photograph is full of her optimism, humour, and love of life.  Felt privileged to be there.
