Wild Swimming

Another blistering day of 18C, sunshine and spectacular cloudage. I was down at the water early for a swim - Himself has been feeling a bit under the weather so passed today. It looked incredible but oh boy - so cold! Yachts and little boats were taking advantage of the early morning calm and gliding out into the Bay but I was the only swimmer. 

We have been pottering in the garden, a bit of weed whacking, a bit of reading on the loungers, a slight wrestle in the polytunnel - the green beans are now impressive. - and a bit of preparation for next week when I head off to North Kerry for the filming of the arthouse film.

Sadly we had to postpone our night out on the tiles in Durrus with Colin and Ginny but hopefully Himself will be feeling perky enough to catch up with them at the weekend before they head off to Canada for a few weeks.
