Razzle from cosmos Dazzler

The first of my homegrown cosmos have produced a flower!!  Miracles will never cease.. I have had no luck growing the 'easy' cosmos plants.. they have never really come to much and this is the first ever dazzler that has worked for me. Hurrah!
Extra is a pair of harlequin ladybirds hard at it in my broad beans instead of munching on the black fly which are rampant on this plant.  I have nipped out the tops but the black fly are persisting.. I may have to resort to squishing them but hoping the birds might help out.
It is a little warmer today but overcast in the main.  I have had the range serviced and the plumber has come to inspect the faulty shower unit in the family bathroom .. good news is that it can be replaced easily but bad news is that we will have to wait for it to be ordered in..so with a full house this weekend we will have to share our en suite for showers.
