Up, up and away!

Walking back from the beach today I saw two hang gliders taking off from the cliffs. Do they take off? Or launch? Maybe it’s jump. I don’t know. Anyway it was a spectacular sight as the glided close to the cliff where I stood watching them. It’s quite surreal to be so close to things that are usually a far dot in the sky.

We collected my mum from hospital today. She’s unsurprisingly exhausted but after a whole afternoon asleep she managed to eat a small amount before drifting off to sleep again. She seems reasonably well and is certainly happy to be home. Thanks to everyone who left a kind message for her yesterday, they’re all very much appreciated
