(190) Get Your Kicks.....

....on Cycle Route 66

Beautiful weather today for a bike ride. The first couple of miles out from Hebden Bridge were on the Rochester canal towpath, which is part of NCN 66, and then I turned off at Mytholmroyd to cycle up Cragg Vale. Although not a steep road it is, apparently, the longest continuous climb in the country but very little power assist was called for from the Creo. I stopped at Craggies farm shop/cafe for a light snack (see extra!) which fuelled the next couple of hours exploring some of the narrow lanes, steep slopes and excellent views of the surrounding area.
