Dodgy Customer
On Tuesday my boss Claire started using her new custom-designed burger van. It was my intention to Blip it today but Brian beat me to it. So I decided I would Blip the inside view. I waited until Bri came to buy his daily sausage sarnie...
This new van is much bigger and is more efficient than the old one. It still needs a little bit more work - some shelves adding, and a few things moving around. You only really know what will work best when you start to get to grips with thing practically I suppose. It feels too new at the moment, and strange, but before long we won't even remember how things worked on the old van.
The old one is going into storage and will be used if this one needs work done, or when it goes for servicing.
It was not that busy today really.
Once I came home (Via Tesco and the Post Office) I did a bit of tidying up, hoovered again and put on a wash-load so now we are more or less ready for the arrival of Sophia and Grace tonight. They will stay for the weekend. Brian has next week off (I will still go to work, since I only have one day). We have plenty of things planned!
I was feeling quite tired after finishing everything I had to do and sat on the sofa with a coffee whilst catching up Blip comment. I set my almost empty cup on the sofa arm on a coaster (I always leave about half an inch of hot drink in my mug - a habit I have had since I was young and had a mouthful of tea-leaves!)
I fell asleep. Minstrel did too, on the computer chair. He woke up first and, thinking it should be food o'clock, jumped on me! This startled me awake, causing me to knock my cup off the sofa, sending it somersaulting through the air to land upside down on the floor. It is amazing how much ground half an inch of coffee can cover...
All the floor cleaning I have done over the past few days undone! It was spattered all over the door to the room also. It took me two mops, a couple of metres of kitchen roll, dusters, polish and about half an hour to clean up all the mess! Cat feeding was delayed...
I can still smell coffee...
