ORCHID ! !

I was giving a drink to my very neglected Orchids today & this one is intriguing, is that a new shoot to be cut off & plant for a further Orchid? I'm sure I can get an answer from a wonderful blipper out there. Has been a warm dry day but not very much sun visible.
