Bee & Lavender

A cloudy and cold day again with rain this afternoon - I can't believe I was watching the men's semi final at Wimbledon at 3pm on 12th July with a temperature here outside of 12.8C!  This morning I did more sorting, I've started on books now. Then I went into the garden to find a photo for blip, I had to wait for a bee to arrive at the lavender. I'm amazed at having to fill the sunflower heart feeders on a daily basis at the moment, it's so cold. This afternoon I half watched the first semi final whilst starting to put together a logical file on a USB stick of all the key information anyone would need in case of my incapacity or death, including where to find key files. Not a cheery task, but once you start doing it you realise how much easier it will make it for an executor or power of attorney. It's been on my task list for a while, and I used the Age Concern Lifebook document below to double check what I've thought I should include. We all think of the financial info and generally have that sorted, but what about subscriptions, clubs, utilities, insurances, medical info, address book, funeral wishes, keys, burglar alarm and so on. All the info is out there already, this is just putting key info and signposting other key info in a few pages.

And well done to Alfie Hewett battling through his very tough three set match to reach the final, he’s not won the singles final at Wimbledon yet, but has five doubles titles here.
