The Dutch House

My unplanned days off resulted in the nice luxury of some reading time (in bed with a cup of tea, a sunny spot in the garden and the sofa when the sun wasn’t out). This was the perfect read and a great recommendation from M. A story of a family full of love and pain and struggle. Sharply observed, all of the characters felt deep and complex. I really enjoyed disappearing into this one.
