Here be Dragons
I'm a great fan of maps. A late friend of mine who was instrumental in kindling my love of the outdoors used to say 'show me a map and I'll show you an adventure'.
What on earth is Wild on about? The sun and heat is obviously affecting him. But no, you often come across old maps with a sea serpent emerging from a bit of uncharted sea or a dragon in range of unexplored mountains. Anyhow one of my network of wildlife spotters told me to get down to the dragonfly pond on the park because Emerald Damselfly had shown up. No sign of him but the Emperor was on the wing. Lightsaver recently had a cracking inflight shot of Emperor on the wing so I had a go at his method for inflight images.here. I almost got there but the images were not sharp enough to grace blip. However, my planting perching twigs around the edge of the pond did and eventually tired of his exertions he came to rest for a few good poses. Hope you all have a good weekend.
