E has a knack of losing secateurs in the garden - to the extent I'm sure future archaeologists will conclude there was a secateur factory here.   

Until a couple of days ago I'd not lost any.  Ironically, I'd bought a spare pair of my preferred ones years back but never needed them - until I lost mine when dealing with the bamboo the other day.

Found the first pair again today.  Both now cleaned and oiled, the spare ones are back in the drawer.
