The accidental finding

In Gauguin's atelier

Four years ago, when classes on Zoom were new, I attended one such WEA class that featured Paul Gauguin, among other artists, as its theme. Shortly afterwards, my sister TML sent me, from NZ, probably at vast postal expense, this jigsaw. I bliiped it last week, and here it is again, but completed. One piece was missing last night, but I found it this morning in the garden, without its picture. I suppose whoever does it next can draw the picture on! It's mainly of sections of  assorted frames.

In years to come, I will relay (to anyone bored enough to listen to me) that I spent much of the first and second lockdowns buying and selling jigsaws, and posting them to customers far and near. Even after the charity shops reopened, there still seemed to be a demand. Now of course it's easy enough to buy attractive ones first or second hand, unless you live in a country where there isn't a good range.

I've had a lovely day off. The sun even shone! We can get Netflix again, and I finished my book outside in the garden. The new coffee machine makes good espressos with a crema. Tomorrow I am going to try to make an oat cappuccino.
